Manage PDF with Apple iTunes

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Apple iTunes can help you managing your collection of PDF books. I wasn’t aware iTunes can be used in such way- for anything apart from music files. Apparently seems like even Steve Job may not have thought like this. An article on Dobbs just talks about Radiologists using iTunes.

MS Office- Annotate Your PowerPoint Presentation

Friday, June 27th, 2008

Want to annotate your MS Office PowerPoint presentations? Here’s nice tip. Apparently, this is the most underused feature of PowerPoint.

  1. Open your PPT in Presentation mode. To do this, click “View” menu.
  2. Right click “Pointer Options”. Select “Felt tip Pen”.Mark your annotations.
  3. Now when you switch back to normal mode, Power point will give you option to ‘Save’ or ‘Discard’. Choose Save. Simple.

Here is a simple PowerPoint presentation that I created; hosted at SlideShare.net.

Did you know?

You can listen to any PDF instead of reading with Adobe Reader 7 .0 or 6.0, and the short cut is:

Ctrl+shift+b - to hear the entire Document
Ctrl+shift+v - to hear the page
Ctrl+shift+c - to resume
Ctrl+shift+e - to stop

Njoy….[;)]
